Hold both the thumb crystals in your hands. Close your eyes and lightly rub the thumb crystals with your thumbs from back to the front (inside to outside) 15-20 times. Rubbing using the thumb of your right hand will reduce the tensions in the brain and the conscious mind. Rubbing using the thumb of your left hand will reduce the tensions in the heart.
